Red Boat Fish Sauce. I once saw a grainy old public TV documentary about the strict process Vietnamese craftsmen went through to make great fish sauce.
It wasn't very appetizing but I know from the Food channel that it can really make a difference when cooking.

The Real Snowpocalypse

You thought the snow storms of 2010 were bad but the real Snowmageddon actual occurred in Iran in 1972. Imagine 26 feet (yes feet) of snow fall in 5 days. 4,000 people died and 200 villages disappeared.
Maybe this is why Iranian leaders are so cranky.

New Trigger

An interesting development in Glock accessories. If this new trigger catches on, it will make the Wishlist.

Wishlist: brass key ring

 Saw this key ring over at EDC and found out that in addition to being cool, it is made by a Japanese company called Kawatako (leather octopus). I'd like to see them come out with more brass items.
