The pinnacle of technology and design

Sometimes technology, design, and a whole lot of money come together to create a truly iconic world-changing device. The iPod is a perfect example of such a product.

But sometimes
our devices are over engineered. Sometimes you want a tool for job and you don't want any extras. That's the idea of Dan Nosowitz' Popular Science post about his TV remote.

He describes the QuantumFX REM-115 as "massive, clumsy, physical, tactile, primitive. And useful." Remind you of anything else?
